The Polk County Friends of the Band (FOB) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit booster club for the Polk County Cadets marching band. The FOB is composed of parents, teachers, friends and any interested community members and provides financial and other support in order for the Cadets to have successful marching, competition and concert seasons. The FOB conducts year-round fundraising, community awareness and outreach events. The FOB also provides chaperoning, supervision and logistics during all performances of the Polk County Cadets. The FOB holds meetings on the third Thursday of each month to discuss needs, finances and to plan upcoming events. It is an honor and privilege to provide support to such an accomplished and successful band.
